Our client has a permanent vacancy for an Account Manager, responsible for looking after existing and new customers in their region. When not visiting customers you will be home based. The role has an attractive bonus scheme and comes with a company car. Responsibilities • To look after a large established customer base in your assigned area, and continually develop new potentials to further expand your success. • Implement appropriate actions to achieve your sales targets • Observe relevant competitor activities and develop operative measures together with your manager • In addition to customer visits, you will also participate in trade fairs and other events • Strengthen existing customer relationships and generate new business • Conclude sales negotiations successfully • Develop and maintain the sales network for your assigned region, working with management to achieve objectives, Key Account Strategy and targets • Update CRM with all tasks, opportunities, meeting/call notes and future tasks Requirements • A graduate with a degree in Life Sciences and/or good lab background • Preferably 1 – 2 years of professional experience in Field Sales or Internal Sales, preferably in the Life Science sector • Good IT skills • Fluent English speaker • Customer centric approach • Full UK driving license Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
