Our client has a vacancy for a HR Project Support to assist with enhancing and modernising people policies, resources, and processes, ensuring they are engaging, user friendly, and aligned with both legislative requirements and the organisation’s strategic direction. The role is a fixed term contract for 6 months with full or part-time hours being considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the HR Manager in the comprehensive revamp of the Employee Handbook, ensuring all content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with current legislation and organisational culture.
• Draft, update, and review HR policies in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and
consistency.
• Create user-friendly "how-to" guides and pictorial workflows to support the implementation
and understanding of key HR policies and processes.
• Deliver and facilitate training sessions for managers, focusing on the most essential HR
policies and their practical application.
• Support onboarding projects, including the development and delivery of resources for new
starters and managers.
• Assist with the scheduling and coordination of Leadership & Development (L&D)
programmes, including logistics and communications for leadership cohorts.
• Contribute to the Reward and Recognition programme by supporting project activities,
resource creation, and communications.
• Participate in other ad hoc HR projects as required, supporting a range of initiatives aimed at
driving continuous improvement within the HR function.
Requirements:
• Experience in an HR support or HR project’s role (in-house or consultancy/agency), or relevant administrative/project management experience.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise policies, guides, and training materials.
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Confidence in delivering or assisting with training and presentations, both virtually and in-person.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and comfort with basic design/visualisation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Copilot, Visio) for pictorial workflows and guides.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and levels.
• High attention to detail, initiative, and a solutions-driven approach.
• Understanding of, or keen interest in, HR policy, onboarding, leadership development, and reward programmes.
